Recount Writing-Going to the Park

I am learning to add more details and interesting words to my writing.

Going to the Park.

On Saturday me and my family went to the park in Kaikohe.

Then when we got to the park I asked my dad if he can   come and play with me but he said no. Then I went to play on the park by myself. Then I said to my mum if she can come to play with me and she said yes. We played tag on the playground area. I played on the swing and my Mum was pushing me. It was fun because Mum was pushing me high. I went to the skate park and I was riding my bike around the bowl. It was fun. Then I did a big as ramp. My bike went high but my dad and my mum said, “Stop doing that it’s too dangerous.” So I stopped going on the ramp.

Then we went to get a kai at MacDonalds. It was nice.

My day was excellent.
